Fertiliser maps are based on the current biomass profile for a given field or fields, generated using the latest satellite imagery. A series of parameters are adjusted by the farmer based around an average rate and whether or not fertiliser should be applied to areas with very low vitality, e.g. on headlands. The system then creates a variable rate fertiliser/seeding map for the work area which can be wirelessly transferred to your screen.
