Thanks to battery power, it is quiet in operation meaning ear defenders are not required while working and work can begin early in noise sensitive areas. Like most AP System tools, the MSA 161 T is IPX4 rated meaning it can be used in all types of weather conditions. With a fully charged recommended AP 200 S battery, the MSA 161 T has a working time of up to 42 minutes. The AP 200 S battery provides the best balance to weight ratio for the MSA 161 T. For longer working times, you can use the AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery - although this will affect the balance. Must be used with AP 200 S, AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery for full performance.
