The MSA 160 is a lightweight and powerful battery-powered chainsaw that is designed for small maintenance jobs. It is fitted with a 12” guide bar and has been designed for pruning branches or cutting firewood on your property. It can also be used for processing wood and felling small trees of up to 20 cm in diameter on the worksite. Thanks to the 36 V lithium-ion battery, it’s perfect for work in noise sensitive areas too! It’s easy and comfortable to use and an ergonomic control handle for greater control and comfort when used across different cutting angles. The trigger system allows for maximum control over the chain speed, and makes working across different materials, around shrubs or on wood working projects even easier. A transparent chain oil tank offers better visibility of oil levels. The quick chain tensioner allows the sprocket cover to be removed and the chain tensioned without the need for additional tools. Plus, the MSA 160 is fitted with a ¼” PM3 saw chain which provides a clean cut and impressive cutting performance. The MSA 160 is recommend for use with the AP 300 S battery. Working time with the recommended AP 300 S battery is around 62 minutes.
